I'm glad you have stopped by and hope that you find some interesting things on this blog. I love
nature and place a high priority on getting my two children (ages 7 and 8) to make the connection. We try to spend a lot of time doing things out in nature, including hiking, biking, beachcombing, learning about things in nature, etc.
This blog is a place where I will share places, pictures, information, news, and more. All of this is based on hoping to inspire and encourage more families to get out into nature together. Some of the greatest times we have in our family are when we hit the trails and take a hike, explore, and learn about all that nature has to offer.
I'm Jacqueline Bodnar, your Florida Family Nature guide. I'm a Florida Master Naturalist, a professional writer, and a mother of two children. I have started and run a local nature club for kids, the Daytona Beach Vegetarian Society, and Volusia County Moms. Join me in exploring Florida Family Nature and all it has to offer. Florida is an amazing place to explore nature, so hopefully you will begin your exploration online and use this blog for ideas to get your family outdoors more.
Thank you for checking out Florida Family Nature!
