Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation Nature Center
Every March since we moved to Florida we have made our way over to Sanibel Island. Why? When I first moved here I heard it was the best place for shelling, and I love seashells! We went over there and it was confirmed... the shelling at Sanibel Island is wonderful! There are literally millions of seashells all over the beach. You can spend hours and days sifting through finding such treasures!
While I will post more about the seashells later, I wanted to share with you another place that we stopped at while there - the Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation Nature Center. The nature center has a small indoor area that has a touch tank, some exhibits, and then they have a nice nature walk about back. We had a great time stopping at the nature center and taking the short hike.
