Falmouth Springs is located just minutes from where we went camping at the Suwanee River State Park in North Central Florida. We were passing by it and saw the sign, so we stopped to check it out.
The sign shows that there is swimming aloud there, but we didn't get into the water. In all honesty, it didn't look like a place I wanted to swim. Nobody was swimming there. Falmouth Springs is pretty, but looks like a place that locals go to party. It was badly littered with beer cans and bottles all through the area.
Unlike other springs I'm used to swimming in, this didn't look like a nice clear spring, which made me not want to get in. The park is free, so if you are in the area it is worth stopping to take a look for yourself to see if you'd like to jump in and cool off!
