Review: Sunset boat tour in Tampa

Tampa

Over Thanksgiving week, we camped at Lazydays RV Resort in the Tampa area. We wanted to stay there so that we could do things in Tampa. One of the things we did was to take the sunset boat tour that is offered by Tampa Bay Fun Boat.

We reserved our tickets online, which I'm glad we did, because the boat tour sold out by the time we arrived. It was a beautiful evening for a boat tour! We parked the car in the parking garage they recommend and then it's about a 5-7  minute walk to where the boat pier is. If you are interested, the area where the boat is located also has some restaurants and restrooms. You could arrive early and have dinner, then go out on the boat tour.

We boarded the boat tour, there were four of us (two adults, two teens), and we headed out. The boat takes you out into the bay, where you have a beautiful view of the sun setting one one side, and of the expensive homes on the left side. The boat captain pointed out numerous homes and told stories about them, and they would play music, as we went along. The views were wonderful.

On the way back, the sun had set, so we got to see things with the lights on. There were great views of the city to take in. The music continued to play and it was just a lovely ride. The views were great, the night was lovely. We all loved the sunset boat tour. Check out the pictures we took on the tour. Once we were done, we just had that short walk back to our car and we were on our way (headed to eat at a nearby place we had wanted to check out).

Two thumbs up for the sunset boat tour in Tampa offered by the Tampa Bay Fun Boat!
