RV dinette seat cushion cover review
We own a travel trailer that is a 272BHS Keystone Bullet and have had it now for going on five years. About six months ago, I noticed that the dinette seats started peeling. They were fine, then there was slight peeling, and then they looked awful. It happened pretty quickly and I wanted a remedy just as quickly.
I searched around and found that you can buy replacement cushions for the RV dinette seats. However, I wasn't thrilled with the cost of them and didn't really want to spend that much on it. Besides, I figured the new ones would peel as well, so I looked for another option. I got the idea that maybe I could find a slip cover to go over the RV dinette cushions. I fid find one and placed the order. I bought four of the CHUN YI - Jacquard CUSHION COVERS to see if it would work (there are four cushions, so I needed four covers).
This past week, we took a camping trip to the Tampa area, and we tried out the cushion covers. They were great! It took just a minute to put them all on, they fit perfectly, and they looked nice. The peeled ugly seat cushion was gone!
If you are looking for an easy and economical way to cover up the peeling or old RV dinette seats, pick up some of these cushion covers. We measured our seat cushions and bought the medium size. They slip on with elastic going around the edges, so there is a span that the size will fit. The medium fit the top and bottom cushion just great. They come in a variety of colors to choose from, too.
See the picture below of the before (where the seats are peeling) and above (with the cushion cover on). I'm glad we made this purchase. It was exactly what I had in mind and it worked out great!
